Perth Strathtay Harriers headed to Grangemouth today for Match 1 of the SNAL.

Jack Moncur took the win in the senior men’s Javelin. His 54.00m well clear of 2nd place and his best performance in the event since 2018! A stunning start to the season which will hopefully offer more as the year progresses.

On the track for the senior women, Lois Garland opened her season with a photo finish 2nd place in the 100m. Her 12.2 seconds into head wind, a solid start in what will be a big year as she targets this summers Glasgow Commonwealth Games.

In the senior women’s Javelin, Lauryn Wood kept her strong start to the season going with 29.69m for 2nd place. Team mater Hollie Walker opened her season with 15.11m in the discus for 8th place.

Archie Birrell took home 2 personal bests and two 2nd place in his 100m and 200m heats, with the U18 coming home in 12.13 and 25.03 seconds. Well done Archie!
