This year is the 132rd edition of the Senior championships combined with the Under 17 Championships and Perth Strathtay athletes were performing at their best today!

Opening the day for PSH was Lauryn Wood in the senior women’s javelin. 5th place overall was secured with an opening throw of 30.65 metres. Not for the first time this season, Lauryn was putting in personal best throws and there was another plus 30m throw in her series today. Well done Lauryn!

In the under 17 mens 100m, there was another personal best performance from Archie Birrell. His 12.50 seconds was good enough for 5th place but didn’t see him into the next round. Well done Archie!

Iris Ryan was just outside her seasons best in the Under 17 women’s 300m, with a time of 46.10. This was 6th place in her heat.

Former Perth Strathtay Harrier Lucy Fraser secured a bronze medal in the senior women’s 100 with a time of 11.88 seconds. Congratulations Lucy!
