Emily is another athlete has had a great season, growing in the sprint events and to secure a medal as a first year in the age group is wonderful achievement. Well done Emily!
All 3 girls were back in actions for the 200m heats. Harriet was first up in heat 1 with a time of 30.3. This was not enough to qualify to the final but with no semi finals in this event, qualifying was always going to be competitive.. In heat 2, Hannah and Emily were yet again drawn together and both made it safety through to the final in times of 28.79 and 29.20 seconds. The final wasn’t to produce any further medals with Hannah finishing 4th (29.37) and Emily 5th (29.49). All 3 sprinters showing the great depth that exists within our sprint squad currently.
